A Look Back at The Best of 2018

2018 was an exciting year for Credly. We joined forces with Acclaim, we overhauled our marketing website, our partners and customers are doing exciting things with digital credentials, and our blog has been busy giving our readers the information they need to succeed when issuing or earning digital credentials.

Before we get ready for 2019, let’s take a look back at the most read and shared blogs this year:

  1. Video: How to Retain Your Best Employees with Digital Credentials. It’s official: learning more about how to engage and retain your employees is important to your organization. Now we know that there’s an easier way to surface and retain incumbent talent and maximize your company’s dedication and commitment to its best employees, and that’s through digital credentials.

  2. No Guts, No Glory: The Story of Metadata. Digital credentials aren’t just pretty graphics that celebrate an achievement. Digital credentials are data rich, and competency is verified before credentials are issued. Not all metadata is created equally and ensuring that metadata can accurately describe competency is important to both the organization issuing the credential, as well as the earner.

  3. Can Digital Credentials Save Your Company Money? The short answer is: yes. Digital credentials help save on recruitment costs, marketing costs, and an increase in employee productivity will ultimately lead to an increase in revenue.

  4. 3 Tips to Start an Award-Winning Digital Credentialing Program. Credly customers are awesome and are constantly bringing value to their earners, and it’s no surprise that their digital credentials are winning industry awards. Hear directly from issuing organizations about what you need to start credentialing.

  5. Sharing Badges on Social Media Actually Works. Digital badges are the visual representation of competency and using them on social media as a visual trigger is powerful. Digital credentials and social media are a perfect match.

Thank you for joining us on a journey of exciting change. We can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store for both our earners and issuers alike. If there's anything you're curious about, or would like more information about digital credentials, please fill out the form below and a member of our team will be in touch.
