Case Study: Autodesk Bridges Skills Gap, Builds Talent Pipeline with Digital Credentials

To meet the demands of the rapidly evolving manufacturing and construction industries and close a crucial skills gap, Autodesk launched a training and certification program with digital credentials through Credly’s Acclaim platform. 

“Due to the rate of industry changes, lifelong learning is not only a key requirement of the next generation of people who will work in those industries, but a key requirement emerging for our existing customers today. We see learning as being key to the way that workers will be successful in the era of automation,” says Jaime Perkins, Director of Learning Strategy and Design at Autodesk Education. 

A new case study details how Autodesk uses digital credentials to empower the workforce and build a talent pipeline for the future; what the company looked for in selecting a digital credentialing partner; and results from a survey of the program’s digital credential earners conducted by Credly. (Spoiler alert: 91% of survey respondents consider an Autodesk digital credential to be valuable. And, 44% of earners surveyed have benefited financially from having an Autodesk digital credential.)
