Who you are

  • Prior experience selling SaaS, with exceptional Sales results
  • Proven successful experience in leading Account Executives
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Consultative selling experience and excellent negotiation skills
  • Industry experience in Education and/or Learning & Development is strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership capabilities and communication skills
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment

 

What you'll do here

As a Sales Leader, you will be managing a team of Account Executives across multiple verticals. You will work with the VP of Sales to formulate and execute a strategy to maximize business growth. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Sales Development, and Customer Success, making cross-company coordination an important aspect to the role. The Sales Leader will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results with emphasis on employee development. The Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and managing the team to generate revenue and achieve individual, team and organizational quotas.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen, including sales forecasting, budgeting, metrics management, sales performance reporting, as well as proactive risk mitigation and creative drive to close quarterly gaps.
  • Demonstrate experience in working within an entrepreneurial culture in a matrixed organization, dependent on constructive collaboration amongst small teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to thrive and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment, as well as in situations of ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Development of a winning team, including recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
  • Coaching direct reports on best practices of moving opportunities through the pipeline through closed won.
  • Demonstrate proven track record of success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, creating new business, and growing and retaining existing business for an early stage
  • Continually review the sales activity of the team and track results.
  • Development and execution of successful sales campaigns.
  • Successful management of client escalations and issues.
