Credly seeks a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team and own the visual design for all the marketing and corporate communications materials we produce. What you'll do here

  • Own and evolve the design of all of our marketing and brand materials
  • Collaborate with our product designer to ensure brand consistency across the board
  • Be actively involved in projects from start to finish, not heads-down working on tickets
  • Build digital design for campaigns spanning advertising, social, inbound content, web pages, slide decks, emails, infographics, and more.
  • Develop print work on occasion, like exhibit graphics and product collateral
  • Develop the design language and establish the visual design guidelines that communicate value based on a deep level of customer understanding
  • Contribute to and collaborate on marketing strategy across the marketing team
  • Create amazing design work that makes you proud to be part of the team
  • Report to Credly’s VP of Marketing

What you know and can do (must haves)

  • Clearly communicate about your design work and the rationale behind design decisions
  • Continuously improve design effectiveness using qualitative feedback and hard data
  • Collaborate effectively across marketing and business disciplines
  • Keep multiple projects moving forward concurrently
  • Think about high-level design strategy, and act–with speed and precision–to execute
  • Embody a healthy balance of humility and confidence
  • Demonstrate that you have shined wherever you've been
  • Create compelling design across an array of--primarily digital--media to meet objectives
  • Demonstrate expertise in the software tools of design

What you may know and have done (nice to haves)

  • Earned professional credentials in relevant design, methodologies, and/or software tools
  • Designed impactful corporate branding and product logos
  • Performed competitive branding analysis
  • Created successful campaigns in both B2B and B2C contexts
