The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for developing opportunities with prospects and partners. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, not afraid to take on new challenges and able to manage several opportunities at once. The person will be expected to work at a fast pace, with concrete goals and measurable results. The ideal candidate will have experience in lead generation and long-term relationship building in one or more of the education, association, corporate training, and certification markets.

We're looking for an SDR to join our team and grow with us as we build Credly into the world leader in digital credentials. This role is in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform market research, identify companies that fit our ideal customer profile, build target account lists and reach out to them through email, phone, and LinkedIn with a goal of setting a sales qualified opportunity. 
  • Maintain active engagement with prospects through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest.
  • Focus on opportunities that generate a minimum of $20,000 annually, and execute strategies to grow client base to multi-million dollar levels. 
  • Capture all relevant information in Salesforce.com, strong attention to detail. 
  • Partner with our experienced industry experts to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.
  • Learn everything there is to know about sales and the digital credential space.
  • Provide constructive feedback to key business stakeholders, helping us continue to innovate our process and product.

  • Prefer working in start-ups over working for large corporations and enjoy the challenge of building something from the ground up.
  • Possess a strong desire to work in technology sales to develop yourself professionally.
  • Salesforce.com experience is a plus
